My Baby

Amelia is now 11 months old.  I can't believe it!  She's a lot of fun and a lot work at the same time!
This past week she started going to a babysitter.  Kim is going to be keeping Amelia on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  She'll still go to Lois's on Tuesdays and I'll be home with her on Thursdays.  This was such a HARD decision and has been a source of great stress for me, but I know it's for the best for all of us.  Amelia did wonderfully at Kim's last week.  She stayed there half a day on Monday, a full day on Wednesday and then until about 2:30 on Friday when Grandma went and picked her up because she was missing her so much.
She's not walking yet, but she is cruising on everything, and has finally gotten her first two teeth.  We're still working on growing some hair!  She also moo's when you ask her what a cow says, it's so funny.
She loves to get into everything here are a couple of picture of her from last night.  I was in her room getting her clothes ready to take to grandma's today and I turned about and I see she has pulled all the hangers out of the box in her closet.

Pumpkins and a Baby Beaver

My favorite season is fall.  I love the weather, the colors, the smells, the everything!  I'm enjoying the fact that Amelia is getting older and is now able to enjoy some of my favorite things about fall too.  This past weekend we headed to the Pickin' Patch to get Amelia her first pumpkin.  It was an overcast sort of gloomy day, but we had a good time.  I snapped a few pictures of her playing on a big pumpkin.

Saturday evening Joe and Lois had their annual Halloween Party.  The whole family comes and it's a great time for all.  We of course had to dress Amelia up and what better for her to be than a baby beaver??  Thanks to Mike for the awesome idea, I still can't believe I didn't come up with it.  Her costume had a hat that had the beaver face and teeth on it, but she HATES having anything on her head, so she didn't keep that one for very long. But give the girl a necklace to play with and you can get a few pictures in before she rips it off!

Two Front Teeth

I FINALLY got a new camera battery and a good picture of Amelia's teeth.  We had a great weekend that included a trip to the pumpkin patch and Lois's annual Halloween Party.  I have lots of pictures of both that I will post soon.  Here's the picture of my baby's teeth.

And now there are two...

Amelia now has her two bottom teeth!  Sunday the other one made it's appearance.  She was crawling towards me this morning and I thought she had something is her mouth, so I stopped her and realized she does have something in there, her two bottom teeth!  It might have been a blond moment.  She's been a little more fussy than usual, but no major problems that I could relate to teething.  Oh and I promised pictures, but my camera battery is dead dead dead, so I need to get a new one.  I will soon and then I'll get some new pictures up!

We have a TOOTH!

Just a quick update, I'm planning on updating with lots of pictures in the next few days, but for now some exciting news!!  On Tuesday the 28th Amelia's first baby tooth started showing its self.  It has broke the surface completely and is shining for everyone to see.  It's so excited, but sad at the same time to know that she's growing up.  And as Heather pointed out to me, now she can bite!!
