Huge milestone...for Amelia!

Mother's Day weekend consisted of a lot running, some down time, a 24 hour bug, and a huge milestone for Amelia, her first haircut!!

Friday night I went to bed not feeling well, but just attributed it to eating dinner too late and nothing else. Well when Asher woke up to eat at 2:30ish, I still felt pretty awful but again didn't think anything about it. As long as I was in bed not moving I was good. Thankfully it was Nathan's 'night' so I did a quick diaper change and headed back to bed.  Amelia got up around 5:30 (she's started doing this lately :o/) and I had to have Nathan take care of her as well because I knew I was going to throw up.  I'm not sure what happened, but I guess I ended up with a 24 hour bug, Saturday was pretty awful and I was completely useless around the house.  Nathan did everything, and I really laid on the couch almost ALL day.  But I woke up feeling much better Sunday, so that's a good thing!

Saturday morning I had schedule Amelia an appointment with Jill McDonald to get her first hair cut!  We talked it up big and explained the whole process to her, even did the pretend cape and the pretend cutting thing so she knew what was coming.  Amelia was SO excited and did wonderfully the whole time.  She sat in the chair just like a big girl and watched Jill cut her hair.  She's growing up so fast, it hurts!

Since I didn't feel well we did NOTHING else Saturday it was a complete waste on a beautiful day, I felt horrible.  Nathan and the kids did go outside for some playtime, but other than that nothing special.

Sunday was GO GO GO, between church and trying to fit all the mom's in it was a FULL day.

I'm so incredible blessed to the mom of two beautiful perfect children.  I'm so thankful that God chose me to be their earthly momma and take care of them.  Sunday afternoon when I was putting Amelia down for her nap I told her I was so glad I was her mommy, and she replied with, "because it's SO fun".  I love that girl with my whole heart.  :)

Enjoy some pictures from the weekend!
Dont' judge, it was daddy's popsicle, Asher wanted it, BAD.
In the act of 'cruising'...oh my.
