Birthday @ Preschool

I just realized I never published this post. Sorry last birthday one, I promise!
Amelia took cupcakes to preschool yesterday (Novemeber 20th) to celebrate with her friends. Miss Amy sent me these pictures, I can't believe she's so grown up all ready. It's unbelievable how fast it goes. :-/.

They are singing Happy Birthday to her, isn't this cute?

Passing out cupcakes.

YUM
Whole class eating the cupcakes.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

My rule is not to do any Christmas decorating until after Thanksgiving.  I told Amelia this recently when we started seeing all the Christmas stuff out in stores, right after Halloween.  On Wednesday before Thanksgiving someone asked her if she was ready for Christmas and her reply was, "No not yet, we have to do Thanksgiving first".  We should always take time to be thankful first.  So Thanksgiving we did, and then we got Christmas stuff down.  :)  I truly love the Christmas season and it just keeps getting better seeing it through my children's eyes.  Amelia helped put up the tree and Asher has helped take a few 'balls' (as he calls them) off.  :)

Sorry for the no clothes, she was having a tea party and got wet seconds before this.
Finished.

We snagged this for the kids:

I think Amelia will love this:

Asher will have a blast playing with this:

and I may or may not have bought these for Nathan to wrap for me.  :)

Welcome to the Big Top

Whew...Amelia's third birthday party is in the books.  We officially had a circus, big top and all.  :)  We've been talking about this birthday party for at least a month, it was what I used to motivate her to stop wearing diapers.  Well she stopped wearing diapers, so I had to come through on my end as well.  It was a lot of fun, but it was a lot of work as well.  But Amelia loved it so it was completely worth it!  My sister took a bunch of pictures that I have yet to see, she's supposed to post them tonight, but here are the ones I took with my phone before and a bit during the party.

My beautiful birthday girl.

Sign, duck pond and fish bowl toss game.

Food table, cake pops and goodie boxes.

I wanted everyone to wear a clown nose.  :)

More games.

She loved it!

I think everyone had a great time.

Random Ramblings

-  It's another beautiful Friday here in the Ozarks!

-  Asher has slept ALL night the past three nights!!  It's about time, he's only 14 months old!

-  Asher sleeping all night HAS NOT resulted in me sleeping all night, because now Amelia is getting up nightly to go pee pee.  Ugh, the joys for potty training.  But on the plus side she's woke up dry every morning for the past 5 days!

-  Black Friday craziness, to do or not to do that is the questions....

-  I started decorating for the big circus party last night!  I hope Amelia LOVES it.

-  I'm looking for a cute family friendly advent calendar, I would love to start this tradition this year.  Any suggestions?  I've found two super cute ones online at pottery barn kids. This one or this one.

-  I'm going to make my grocery list for Thanksgiving week/weekend today, is it sad I'm excited to look through all the ads and find the best deals and make my list?  I really LOVE making list.

-  Speaking of lists, I bought an Erin Condren life planner last year and failed to use it, I loved the look and the idea but never got into it.  This year I purchased an Erin Condren notebook with the calendar addition and I LOVE it.  I use it regularly, I'm such a planner/list maker that the notebook works perfectly for me!

-  Can adult women with two kids wear these?  I think they are stinking cute, but I'm undecided about whether I can pull them off...

-  I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

How sweet is this?  Cuddles after their naps.

I'm so thankful I FINALLY have someone who willing helps with the dishes...

He wanted in on the dress up action going on at Sara's house the other day. :)

Silver Dollar City Fun

Friday was a BEAUTIFUL day! Randomly I told Nathan that it would be a prefect night to take the kids to Silver Dollar City to see the Christmas lights. He agreed and we quickly made plans to go. It ended up being just our family of four that went, we missed Mema, Poppy and Kylie, but had a great time! We couldn't have asked for a better night weather wise and crowd wise. It was amazing.

I think it's funny how they are both pointing up at the all the lights in these two pictures.

My FAILED attempt at a picture of them standing together, they just wanted to play with the lights.

We kept little man up late so he crashed as we made our way out of the park, but, doesn't he look sweet??

Election Day!

Today is a big day for Americans.  Get out and vote.  Our country needs us, our kids and their future need us.  Your vote counts.  That's my PSA for today!  Have a great day!

Belle and a Vampire

We had a great Halloween!  Amelia really understood what it was this year and was SO excited.  Asher could have cared less.  But still tagged along and had a good time.

Best picture I could get at home of the kids
She was SO ready to get her Belle costume on.  Asher didn't get a 'real' costume, only a fun shirt and a matching fang paci.  He's sort of picky so we decided we didn't want to fight him all night in a real costume.
Amelia checking out her owl basket with light up eyes.
Asher wanted to check it out too.  By the way the glitter on my couch, insane.
My little vampire.  He wouldn't keep this paci in because it wasn't 'his kind'.
Here's a good picture of him with his pacifier in.  He had really no interest in keeping it in his mouth unless he was distracted by other things.

The kids at Papa Chuck and Granny Karla's house.
We did trunk or treat at our church, and this is Amelia with 'her' clown.
Our church did Trunk or Treat for the first time this year and I would say it was a success.  I painted this clown for Amelia's circus party, but we used it for Trunk or Treat too.  Amelia really got into handing out candy to everyone, she was giving it out by the hand fulls!

Asher became a dragon? I'm not sure what the jacket is, but it was only $3.19 at Old Navy.
He's thinking finally these fools gave me back my paci.
